Peace in our Hearts

Communication is the key to peace.

We try with all our might to make it more complicated. Whether it is with our world leaders or our neighbors next door to us, communication is the key to open our hearts to one another.

Without verbally opening up to each other, how can we know how we feel? Yes, the time is coming soon where we will be able to communicate without words.

We will look into each others eyes and will know the feelings in each others hearts at a glance.

What a wondrous time that will be. There will be no more secrets. We will be open with our thoughts, free to let each other know what we think. This is already starting to happen.

We are beginning to use the tools. We are re-membering what a natural feeling this is only to be stopped by our human thoughts of fear. "What if they don't like what I am saying? What if I hurt their feelings with my truth? What if I explode with my anger?"

Please don't be afraid of their reaction as it can be a source to more communication. Let us be open with kindness in our hearts. These are tools to be developed and with use we will perfect them.

Enjoy the learning process. We may stumble along the way but we can pick ourselves up and begin again. We are all in this together.

Without the openness of communication there will be barriers that build into strong walls of resentment. Haven't we seen this with people in our daily lives?

Let us talk with those who cause turmoil in our lives. Thank them for the lessons they have presented.

After openly communicating, feel the heaviness attached to your heart lift. Feel the closeness to this person. If this is not possible, bless them anyway and move on. Use discernment.

This will cut the attachment to the uneasiness that has been experienced. Then we will have peace in our hearts.

  1. I know I still have trouble just saying what I really want to say with certain people and I don't know why that is still, I would think that at my age I would have no problem just saying what I want. But reading this makes me realize that yes it must be that I am afraid of the communication that will come back to me. It's the not knowing that leads me not to be as open as I would like. I'll keep in mind the tools you wrote about the next time this happens with me.
    Love and Light,
    Janet :)

  2. Being open has never been a problem for me, getting people to listen has! Great post!
