When you have to walk away

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

In my life, I have had to walk away from relationships that no longer served a purpose.

One might question that statement.

What is the purpose of a relationship?

Two people that offer a mutual friendship, bond, love, hope, and trust.

There are times in your life, that although you might have known someone for decades, that they are the takers, and not the givers.

It might be time to share the light with yourself, and end the one sided relationship.

It is not selfish to protect your heart, and protect your family from people who only call when there is no one else.

Sharing light with Kimmy.

Take it positively, probably it is better to feel needed than never been remembered at all. It is divine to give to the unworthy. It is twice you'll get but not always from the person you've expected to reciprocate.

I agree .. after we've considered all sides of such a relationship (illness, family?? and so on) one needs to figure out if this is something we can live with or do they just suck out all our energy??? Sometimes breaking these relationships may hurt at first .. but in the end - we're better off without them.

Hugs!!
