Wings of Courage

Saturday, August 15, 2009

The wings of courage and enthusiasm enable one to fly forward.

While moving forward we sometimes find ourselves in a position where there seems to be no progress.

We don't seem to understand the reason for this and we find success eluding us.

We try different methods for success but if we look within we find that either we have no courage or no enthusiasm, which prevents us from giving our best to the task.

We need to have both the wings of courage and enthusiasm in order to succeed. If there is no courage we give up trying. On the other hand, if there is no enthusiasm we get tired and tiredness never lets us work towards success.

So before we take up any task we should make sure we fill both these wings with such power that we will be able to work constantly till we succeed.

Hi Kimmy,
I love this post, it is so true, It reminds me of a saying that came back to me when my daughter was graduating high school, I posted this saying next to her baby picture that they let us parents do in their yearbook. "The two greatest gifts a parent can give to their children is roots, and wings." I realize now that my parent's were trying to give me wings of courage and enthusiasm, but it took me a long time to learn what they were teaching, so thanks for writing about this it may get through to younger generations who will find there wings sooner than later,
Take Care,
Janet :)

Hi Kimmy,

Eversince I discovered your blog, I keep visiting your site often. I like your philosophical thoughts and reflections on life, courage, enthusiasm, light, living and love.

Your posts always give me food for thought. You have the gift of presenting deep spiritual insights into understandable concepts, which differentiate your blog from the rest.

Now I added you to my Entrecard drop list so that I can visit your site daily, to read your new post and to drop on your widget.

Kimmy,
This is a wonderful and inspiring post. One that I really needed to be reminded of today.

It's so easy to allow ourselves to fall into a slump and when we do not always easily see our way out.

As for me I know I need some rest physically and I have made plans to slow my postings down.

I am just simply going to to have to be able to say no some times to some things and post in a manner that also allows me to have a life.

I am considering a 3 post week, Sunday which actually carries over to Monday because of Music Monday, Wednesday and then Friday which will run through Sunday.

I have simply got to have time to get out and work with my camera and in October I start an online course.

So these are my plans. Now I just have to do my best to stick with them.

Thank you so much for always sharing such wonderful wisdom with us!
Jackie:-)

Soul-level peace and enthusiasm are constant, unconditional and ever-available to everyone. Your reflections inspire blog visitors to open their senses to realize how beautiful and talented each person is. The invisible message is love, you are always loeved. Have faith. Trust. You have all you ever need right now.

Yes, we must have purpose and with purpose we must have courage to follow our truth and the enthusiasm to see us through.

Truly inspiring. Oftentimes when hope is trickling it's nice to have someone to bring you a renewed flame of hope. Thank you for this powerful wisdom. :-)

That is true, as one without the other we are left hopeless. When we welcome both, we have our balance in whatever we do. Beautiful site.

Success never eludes you. You are loved, talented and always perfect just as you are. The ego would have you believe otherwise.
