To be tolerant

This is something I am working on!

Find yourself considering beliefs and opinions that you might otherwise reject out of hand because you can understand how they add value to the lives of those who embrace them.

We should endeavor always to be tolerant of viewpoints that differ from our own as we can never know when our circumstances will transform.

Over the course of our lives, we have adjusted our values, expectations, and personal philosophies to account for the changes that have taken place in our hearts and minds as we grew as individuals.

It is likely that we will need to make further adjustments as we trek resolutely into the future.

If we are open-minded enough to understand that what does not serve us in the present may meet our needs in the future, we can look tolerantly upon alternative perspectives.

Choose not to criticize the beliefs and opinions others hold dear today, you will not feel compelled to reject these thoughts outright later on in your life.
