Who is the real Kimmy?

So who is Kimmy? And why do I share the light? Am I real? Can I really be this way all of the time?

Kimmy is a full time IT Recruiter
Kimmy is a full time mom of a 17 year old daughter, trying to balance full time IT Recruiter. Still have to do all the mom things, and household chores!
Best friend and wife of my husband Rick for 18 years.

I am only 36!

Spreading light seems to be the only way I can truly survive. Life can drag us down at anytime. I myself became frustrated of trying to balance all that I wanted to accomplish! I noticed that the more I tried to do, the bitter I became. I also had friends that liked to live their life in negative and drama.

I finally had enough of my own and other's pity party.

So I decided to share only the light. To allow as much light, and allow people to see my wings.

My joy now is to service my friends and family with rays of happiness. To help others, and share the good within. The Law of Attraction tells me the more I send out, the more I will get back in abundance.

That is my message. And since that day, it has truly been this easy!

love, Kimmy

Please keep her going...

SHE JUST LEFT my house.

She is walking for ovarian cancer . Please pass her on so that she can reach her destination. Say a prayer for all those who are affected by this terrible disease. She's walking around the world --- via e-mail!! Pass it on so she can get there!

Please blog about her one day, so this woman stays animated.

Ovarian Cancer Whispers - so listen.. Watch for Pelvic or abdominal pain or discomfort; vague but persistent gastrointestinal upsets such as gas, nausea, and indigestion; frequency and / or urgency of urination in the absence of an infection; unexplained weight gain or weight loss; pelvic and / or abdominal swelling, bloating and / or feeling of fullness; ongoing unusual fatigue; or unexplained changes in bowel habits. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, ask your doctor for a combination pelvic / rectal exam, CA-125 blood test, and transvaginal ultrasound. A Pap Test WILL NOT detect ovarian cancer.

Just Shine

Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining- they just shine.” ~ Dwight L. Moody

You may sometimes dim your inner light as a way of playing small so as to not threaten other beings who are near and dear to your heart. It's time to stop playing small, and start playing big. When you let your inner light shine, and fully step into your power, you automatically empower others to do the same

Access your light

How do you access your light and let it shine onto others? To become a beacon of light and love to those around you, simply recognize all of the amazing riches that the earth has already given you.

First start with thinking about what you do have instead of what you don't have. What are you grateful for in your life today? Then ask yourself, "Who am I to receive all these gifts?". You must already be special if you are have been granted these things. All it takes for you to step into your light is for you to open yourself up and receive what is already being offered to you.

Yet, because you're not looking at your own light you may be missing it. Focus on your truth for 5-10 minutes. It's worth your time. This is who you truly are. This will allow others to see the beauty inside you as well.

Glow

We never realize ourselves so vividly as when we are in the full glow of love for others.

My Angel Gabriel

My Angel Gabriel Meaning - "Strength of God"; "The Divine is my strength"; "God is my strength" Thank you for guiding me.

Here is some information on my sweet angel.

The only Archangel depicted as female in art and literature, Gabriel is known as the "messenger" Angel and is one of the four Archangels named in Hebrew tradition and is considered one of the two highest-ranking Angels in Judeo-Christian and Islamic religious lore. Apart from Michael, she is the only Angel mentioned by name in the Old Testament. She is a powerful and strong Archangel, and those who call upon her will find themselves pushed into action that leads to beneficial results.

Gabriel can bring messages to you just as she did to Elizabeth and Mary of the impending births of their sons, John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth. If you are considering starting a family, Gabriel helps hopeful parents with conception or through the process of adopting a child.

Contact Gabriel if your third eye is closed and your spiritual vision is therefore blocked. If you wish to receive visions of Angelic guidance regarding the direction you are going in. If you wish to receive prophecies of the changes ahead. If you need help in interpreting your dreams and vision.

Gabriel helps anyone whose life purpose involves the arts or communication. She acts as a coach, inspiring and motivating artists, journalist and communicators and helping them to overcome fear and procrastination.

Gabriel also helps us to find our true calling. Ask for Gabriel's guidance if you have strayed from your soul's pathway, if you wish to understand your life plan and purpose. She can also help if you can find no reason for being or if changes are ahead and you need guidance. If you are contemplating a house move, major purchase or thinking of changing careers.

Call Gabriel if your body is full of toxins and needs purifying and if your thoughts are impure or negative and need clearing and cleansing. Gabriel is also very helpful for women who have been raped or sexually assaulted and feel dirty as well as being under psychic attack or if you feel that you have absorbed someone else's problems.

A New Light from Within

I have enjoyed designing my shield today.

Somewhere in my heart I know that I have something to offer myself and others.

I have no clue exactly what that is, yet I have little ideas sometimes that leads me in this direction or that direction. Knowing that I might be on path makes me smile a little more than before. That is where the joy comes from. That is the path I laid out for myself.

My joy is my service.

Thank you my angels.

I do not know my full purpose yet, I ask for you to guide me. Show me what my light can bring myself and others.

With love and light,
Kimmy

Please join us in this movement

Shinade at The Painted Veil tagged me with the Blog Blast for peace. I had plenty of fun designing my picture. I am also going to recommend if you have a few spare moments, to join this movement! Shinade explains this as follows

Peace is a wonderful thing. Yet many all over the world are not walking out into their gardens and catching glimpses of flowers, bees, butterflies or any other thing that could be defined as beautiful.

Instead they face each day filled with fear, hunger, and sheer horror at the sights they and their children must endure every single day:genocide, bombs, funeral after funeral, burying the dead, mass graves go unmarked, their view and their hope is bleak.

So thousands of us, from all over the globe, join together every six months to make a simple post titled: Dona Nobis Pacem. We all hit the publish button at the same time. The plea for global peace makes a strong resounding wave all across this powerful new media known as the blogosphere.

On this one day no matter your country, your heritage, faith, your religious belief, or your lack of, on this day we stand as one.

We stand together for peace.

Please join us in this movement and post a peace globe on November 6, 2008.

The rules for this meme are very simple:

*1. Please visit Mimi at Mimi Writes and pick up a blank globe to decorate.

*2. Write a post on your blog announcing the upcoming event.

*3. Tag everyone you can think of so they too can help spread the word.

*4.Please leave a comment and let me know that you have picked up the tag.

*5.Please return after your post is made and let the person know that tagged you that you have completed the tag so that they can add your name to their list.

*6. Make sure to link this meme to the original source- Shinade

*7. Please link back to the person who tagged you.

*8. You don't have to be tagged to play. Anyone reading this please join in.

I see that a lot of my friends, and blogs I follow have already been tagged. I take this moment to offically tag anyone that I have dropped on in the past.

On Sharing light

Bring that which is around you in...
Allow yourself to witness what He can show you...
Let it touch your soul to allow
you to grow beyond your circle...

1 Peter 3
Your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives.

Let the outside in...
Breathe in the strength..
the beauty...
Renew your spirit

Be aware to let the outside in...be aware to entwine both the familiar and the unfamiliar...by doing so you open up to so many possibilities.

By letting the outside in you will lay witness to a new strength...a new beauty...a re-newed spirit.

Awareness

Awareness is when we are able to realize what we are doing. We observe ourselves, noticing our reactions, actions, and choices as if we were a detached viewer. Awareness is the first step to change because we can’t make a change unless we are aware that one needs to be made in the first place.

We can then begin understanding why we are doing what we are doing. Afterward, it becomes difficult not to change because we are no longer asleep to the truth behind our behaviors.

We also begin to realize that, just as much as we are the root source behind the causes for our behaviors, we are also the originator for any changes that we want to happen.

Practice Unconditional Love

I know we are all told these things:

Practice unconditional love.

As light workers we are to aid each others growth.

When in need. Or someone else is in need.

We are to reach out and ask others for assistance.

Start giving unconditional love to others.

Give a free healing.

Lift them up in your thoughts.

Let them know others care.

Would you be comfortable leaving this world today?

Did we take the time to help those in need?

love, and plenty of light to you..

For those on the Journey of light

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. The brave may not live for ever but the cautious do not live at all. From now on you will be traveling the road between who you think you are and who you can be.

The key is to allow yourself to make the journey...

We each make mistakes and wrong turns on our path. We must allow for these missteps, changes in character, to forgive ourselves and others. Then we must consider ourselves blessed, smile, and travel on!

Blessings, love, and enough light!

I create the life I want

You are the artist in your life. You create the images and colors on the canvas. Are you creating the picture you want? Does your canvas convey a life of fulfillment and growth? Or does your canvas convey chaos and despair?

Sometimes we don't like what we see in our lives. And I ask, who is responsible for the likeness reflecting back? Some would say outside forces, such as inadequate parents, poverty, addiction, rotten breaks, racism, a disability, and any number of other things. No doubt, outside forces can and do influence our life canvas. But I invite you to consider that, more often than not, we allow outside forces to color and define our lives.

Consider a different perspective. You're invited to first see whether you played a part in where you are. And the best news you can give yourself is to say yes, because if you played even a small part, there is something you can do to change that canvas of your life. But if you think you played no part whatsoever, then you may be waiting forever for someone to change the course of your life. And that could be a very long wait.

What can you do today to re-create your life? What action can you take to create a more appealing image?

Thanking people that kick my...

Going back and reading my profile, I want to cover on a quote I featured.

"All mentors have a way of seeing more faults than we would like. It's the only way we grow." Padme

I have been blessed with strong, intellegent, caring people that have given me the feedback I needed to hear in order to grow. This post is to thank those that don't coddle me, but let me know the truth of my own behaviors, decisions, and actions.

Friends don't let friends continue to watch them fail.

(Lesson of the day, if you are consistenly blaming others for your problems, and wondering why your friends pick on you, perhaps they are trying to kick you out of the rut you caused for yourself!)

It is love

Your in the fast water now
turbulent, foamy. Look up
the blue skies are still there
above the trees. Zoom out -
see from above. Go higher -
see the landscape, the continent
your on. Back more -
lakes of clouds
over oceans and land.
Blue green jewel...
Think
of all the people, all the time
all the things happening.
Picture yourself sitting there
in your small room looking out
at the world. Ask the question.
Hear the answer. It is love.

What will your verse be?

"So that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse"
-Walt Whitman

I contribute here and now. In a world that can seem so empty and cold, I believe there is hope in every situation and experience. You just have to know how to look for it.

This blog is to open people's eyes a little wider to the hope, knowledge, wisdom and understanding that is all around us in life's lessons. Life is one's greatest teacher, but it doesn't always speak to us in the most obvious of ways. We must learn to listen if we are to learn from our greatest mentor.

When I find a lesson to be learned in the nuances of my life, whether they be stemmed from pictures, songs, stories, poems, books, or even simple conversations I have with people, I will share them here. I invite all to do the same.

I look forward to hearing what life has to teach you...:)

Autumn of Change

Autumn of Change©

What does it mean to watch the trees switch colors?

Does it mean end, or beginning?

As the leaves fall, your spirit may shift as well.

Does that mean look towards the future or looking back?

Your spirit is in your control.

Your view is yours to keep in check.

I feel the brighter light within my soul.

I reach to bring it out for all to see.

Love

The single most important requirement for happiness is to feel loved, but most people don’t really understand what love is.

We don’t know how to find it and if we do, it’s difficult to hold onto. We talk about it, thousands of books and movies are made about it, yet it is elusive and slips through our fingers.

Love and happiness go hand-in-hand, and when I talk about happiness, I’m talking about a feeling of peace and fulfillment that bathes the soul in a knowing that all is well and there is nothing to fear.

This feeling doesn’t go away when life becomes difficult – it grows and engulfs us in a light of protection.

This is our reason to live – to find unconditional love and share it with others. This is our work on the planet.

Save the Marriage..

People don't talk about saving the marriage, as quick as they talk about divorce.

Marriage is a beautiful thing. It is the pinnacle of human love: a man promising to love a woman through thick or thin, good or bad, no matter what. Through being content with each other or being angry at each other, the bond of love remains the same. It causes the two to put themselves aside and think of the good of the other; the focus isn't on being two, but rather on being one.

Marriage is also linked to the continuation of society. The existence of society is continued through reproduction. The traditions, culture, beliefs, values and ways of a society are passed on through the family from parents to children.

Children have had one or both parents leave them. When pride and self-interest aren't set aside, we see terrible things happen. Every case is different. I can't say what motivates each situation. Whether the cause is greed, a lack of self-control, jealousy, mental illness, fear or failure of character, the outcome is still the same: someone gets hurt, usually the children. It's not right.

My parents loved each other very much. I witnessed a man caring for his wife deeply, putting his desires aside for her well-being. I witnessed a woman loving her husband, looking after and attending to his needs and well-being. And as one unit, one relationship, they loved my sister and me and sacrificed their earthly desires for our physical, spiritual and emotional well-being.

Power of Vision

I open my eyes to the power of vision.

I commit to the practice of opening my heart and mind to believe that my vision can become a reality.

I open my heart and mind to believe through prayer, meditation, service, and study. I start each day with the intention of being someone who believes.

Where in your life have you stepped back from your deepest and truest heart's desire? Are you living a pale beige version of what could be your most passionate life? If you're on the edge of your own greatness, what do you have to lose if you take the leap of faith?

Avoiding Negative Vibrations

Taking on the Energy of Others

There are times when you may find that being around certain individuals or groups of people leaves you with feelings of discomfort. It may be that spending time with a particular friend feels draining or that dealing with a specific coworker exhausts you. Being around toxic or angry people is also draining. And you may even find that being surrounded by a crowd of people lowers your energy levels rather than perks you up. This is not that unusual. Each of us radiates energy and is capable of being influenced by the energy of other people. It is important to learn how to shield yourself, so you don’t unknowingly take on someone else’s energy. While some people know how to instinctively protect themselves from being adversely affected by energy, most of us need to discover and practice the technique that works best.

There are a number of ways to avoid being affected by people’s energy. Shielding is one preventative technique you can use. Center yourself and envision being enveloped in a cocoon of loving and protective light. This protective layer should allow you to consciously regulate the energy around you. The intent to shield oneself is all you need for this technique to work. You can even create a trigger word to assist you in quickly creating a shield. Say this word each time you create a new shield, until the word and the shield become automatically associated in your mind. If you run into a person whose energy you find draining, you may want to cleanse your own energy field after your encounter. Sage, cold showers, singing, mineral water baths, spending time in nature, and a simple break to recharge are all ways to accomplish this.

Garden to myself

Will you drink
Before you thirst

We have needed steps
Before the change

One day at a time...this
is enough

Today I have this special privilege to
the garden to myself

A bouquet of yellow flowers
Rich growing plants
surrounded

This place is like my room for
improvement

Spacious, inviting, tender feel for my soul

I am able to grasp things more firmly
when I can sense myself

6 Great Questions that Will Help You Find Your Focus
26th May 2006
Author: Cari Vollmer
Copyright 2006 Cari Vollmer

Do you have a ton to do and have no idea where to start? Would you like to know with each step you take you're heading in the right direction? Would you like to narrow your "to do" list down to a few key items and let go of the rest? Would you like to work smarter, not harder?

The questions below will help you do just that. Answering these questions will help you find your focus so you can do what you want to do and feel great about your life while you're doing it.

1. What do I care about most? Or, where is my heart leading me?

Only when you allow yourself to do what you care about most will you begin feeling better about your life.

Asking this question will give your HEART a space to speak and be heard. When we get wrapped up in all the "stuff" we have to do we often overlook what our heart wants.

2. What do I really, really want to do? Or, ask yourself "is this what I really want?" If the answer is "no", ask yourself why you're doing it and then find a way to stop doing it. So much life is wasted doing things we don't want to do.

Doing what you really want is a process of identifying and letting go of the things that you don't want and replacing them with things that you do want. Overtime you'll rebalance your life to include MORE of what you want to do.

This question will give your DREAMS an opportunity to come to life. This one question could set your life on a new course.

3. How do I want to feel while I'm doing what I'm doing? If what you're doing doesn't give you pleasure while you're doing it, you may be on the wrong track. Why? Because "doing" takes up much more time then the result. The result happens once. We reach each goal only once and then it's over. The journey to our goals is what fills our life with experiences. If you're not feeling good during the "doing" (aka the journey) is it really worth it?

This question allows your SPIRIT to come alive to be experienced. Give yourself permission to do things that feel good and you'll live an inspired life.

4. What is the "for sake of what" behind what I'm doing? Another way to word this question would be, "In the big picture of my life what purpose does this action serve?" If the answer isn't clear you may be letting life lead you.

This question helps you CONNECT THE DOTS and make better choices for your life. Basing your actions on a clear purpose puts you in the driver's seat which means you are LEADING your life instead of letting it lead you.

5. What am I going to do? Make a list of all the things you care about and all the things you really want to do and prioritize them with a "1-2-3" approach. Rank your list in order of importance.

Of course we make choices (decisions) about what we're going to do all day long BUT how often do we make choices after asking questions 1-4? Answering the above questions FIRST will give you the opportunity to bring more of what you really want into your life.

This question requires a CHOICE be made. Now you've narrowed your focus!

6. How am I going to do it? After narrowing your focus create a mini action plan for each item. Write down the steps you'll need to take to make it happen.

Tip: only focus on 1 or 2 things at a time (ex: over the period of 1 month). Don't try to do everything at once. That will just lead to overwhelm. Give yourself a chance to worker smarter and you will get more done.

This question will inspire you to TAKE ACTION. Nothing happens without it. In order to create the life you want you have to give your dreams, heart and spirit a voice and space in your life. However, this alone won't make things happen. You have to channel all these things into a clear course of action.

Instead of jumping into your "to do" list, take some time to reflect upon these questions. By doing so you'll put yourself on a life and/or business path that reflects more of what you really want. Determine your FOCUS first and you'll live a fuller, richer life.
